Interesting Research Paper on Dreaming: "Long Term Dream Diary of an OCD Individual" (2010)

While searching the internet for sources on dreaming, I stumbled upon this report. It is a report by Gackenbach, Masiuk & Sample (2010), entitled Long Term Online Dream Diary of an OCD Individual, presented at the 2010 meeting for the International Association for the Study of Dreams. The subject was a 23 year old male video-game enthusiast, suffering from a range of mental health problems, including obsessive compulsive disorder, bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. His publically accessible online dream diary contained many dreams, some whilst taking medications (anti-depressants and anti-psychotics) for his health problems, others after he stopped medication, typically after the age of 18 years. Gackenbach et al compare the content of the subject's dreams (with and without medication) with those expected of a male from a similar social demographic and provide statistical data in a simple, comprehensible format. You can access the pdf of the report by clicking on this link.
