'Baker Woman Infidelity'

Scene 1: An Unknown Domestic Interior - Time Unknown
I was in an unknown domestic interior with AJR, and maybe some other dream characters. I remember being inside and knowing it was a home, which felt familiar in the dream. I was extremely angry and upset because I had become aware that AJR was cheating on me with a woman who worked in a bakery as a baker. I found out via social media somehow - details were very unclear. I was standing over AJR while he sat in an armchair. I do not know what I was saying - or shouting at him. He was pretending not to listen to me - or could not hear me. He was wearing a white T-shirt.

I cannot remember anything else about this dream.

Dream 986

'Lucky Hand'

Date: 26 May 2019
Day 22 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation 

Scene 1: A Small Room - Time Unknown
I was in a small room, which was lit with a yellow light. The room appeared to be empty of all furniture and decor - other than a small table in the centre, which I think was made of wood. There were chairs around the table. In the position I was seated at the table, the door to the room was behind me to the left. The room was filled by the table/chairs and people who were seated around - it was a game of poker. There were approximately 5 - 7 other people around the poker table - I think they were all male dream characters, who I knew to be fellow poker players, but did not know in the dream or recognise from real life. Beside me was the only dream character I can remember physically. He was a large man, dominated by the colour red - his skin was red-toned and shiny, giving him the impression of being a 'jolly man' and a comedian. He was wearing bright coloured clothing - a suit, which had some red in it. He was leaning at an odd angle and laughing, which I found to be distracting. 

I was told I had to put the big blind in, and I felt panicked even though I had a stack of poker chips on the table. I said I would only play if someone else put the big blind in. This was arranged somehow. I then looked down at my cards. I had an Ace and a Jack, both spades. I thought to myself: 'that's my lucky hand' (it is my real life lucky hand, although not necessarily spades - any suit/combo). The male dream character, Mr Red said loudly, in a stupid voice: 'that's your lucky hand'. I was really annoyed at him for saying this out loud in case any of the other poker players could predict what my cards were. 

I turned towards the door. There was a ginger and white cat - which I knew to be male - curled up right next to the door of the room, which was ajar. I noticed the door was painted white and the walls were painted pale orange - I then noticed that this represented the colours of the cat's fur and wondered if this was a purposeful design choice.

I cannot remember anything else about this dream.

• I had been asking AJR if he could play poker. He said he could not. He then told me, a short period of time later, that he had been present when some of his friends were playing poker and one friend had shown him his hand, which was an ace and a jack. AJR's friend had to point out this basically AJR's first name. I then told AJR that ace and jack was my lucky hand, but I hadn't even realised it was his name, until he told me this story

Dream 985

'Lightsaber Pen Distraction'

Date: 25 May 2019
Day 21 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Partially successful Dream Incubation Dream (yey!)

Scene 1: A Garden - Dusk
I was in an outside area and it was dusk. Standing in a bed of flowers, rotating slowly, was a girl I am aware of from social media - XR. I was aware DL (who knows this person) was dating her - this was a recent relationship.

Scene 2: A 'Medical Practice' - Night(?)
I think it was night. I was in an interior which was very dark. I cannot recall anything about the space, other than one small area where there was a dentist's chair and some medical equipment - this was in the middle (front) area of the room - which was quite large and had shelves/dividing walls. The door to the room was directly behind this area - there were some counters too. The space seemed to be quite crowded. DL was seated in the dentist's chair and had a 'seatbelt' or strap holding him in. He was wearing a navy business suit. He was hyperventilating and having a panic attack because he was going to undergo some medical treatment/procedure. There were 2 male doctors present, who I became aware of - they seemed dressed more like businessmen - rich and in smart casual clothing, with confident attitudes and Cockney accents. They were medium build, middle aged white men, and were laughing and joking with each other in a way I thought was unprofessional and made me think they might be gangsters. I knew I had to distract DL so that he could have the medical treatment. I realised the best way to do this would be to show him a new item I had - it was a pen and I was going to demonstrate how it worked. It was designed in space. I took out the pen which looked like a regular blue biro. I pressed a 'button' on the side and the pen ignited with a lazer light - a lightsaber. The blade of the lightsaber was blue. In the dream, I thought it was cool that space technology meant now pens were also lightsabers. Lightsabers were known to me to relate to Star Wars in the dream. DL was distracted and I shut off the pen and put it in my pocket and left. In the hallway, which reminded me of a taxi office, with a service window/hatch and beige walls, was a TV suspended up on the wall, near the ceiling. It was showing a TV show (red velvet curtains were seen - host holding microphone? Seemed like a chat-show?) which was explaining how lightsaber pens were being used to distract patients and victims so that they would be operated on - legitimately and professionally, or criminally. I thought this was my idea and wondered how the news/media found out about my tactic and broadcast it to the public. I felt smug too, because it was a 'genius' idea. 

I cannot recall anything else about this dream.

Additional Notes:

• This is Day 21 of my current Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure (click on this title link to read my introductory post and see my accompanying Youtube video, below). I would classify this as a partial success, as there was an extremely clear and obvious Star Wars reference, and a recognition of this within the dream itself, but the dream was not necessarily a Star Wars aventure, as it did not take place within the Star Wars universe - it took place in the 'real world' where everyone was aware that Star Wars is a fictional movie franchise. We had just learned how to make realistic lightsaber technology and applied it to pens. I want a more active. fantastical, exciting dream, actually set in the Star Wars universe
• On the day of this dream, PB, a friend who I know from prison visits, had posted photographs on Facebook of her new flowerbeds
• I had been watching a Youtube video busting myths surrounding space - one of them was that NASA had invented a pen that could work in space conditions
• DL is actually phobic of injections/blood tests so I have gone to the doctors to distract him when he has to have this done, so that he does not faint

Lucid Dream Phenomena: Telepathic Boyfriend?

Recently, I experienced a weird, inexplicable lucid dream-related phenomenon. One of my Youtube subscribers/viewers asked a question about my boyfriend AJR and his ability to lucid dream. I asked AJR about lucid dreaming during a telephone call and the resultant conversation led to this phenomenal lucid dream-related experience. AJR and I are both sceptics/cynics who do not believe in ESP, telepathy of psychic experiences - nothing paranormal or supernatural. However, this experience made me reevaluate whether my boyfriend and I have a telepathic/psychic connection. 'Love Island'

Day 20 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Unknown (Domestic?) Interior - Time Unknown

I have forgotten the majority of this dream as I was disturbed upon waking and did not record it in time before my dream memories faded. 

I was in an unknown interior, which I perceived to be a house, although not one I recall from real life. AJR was present with me. He said something about Love Island. 

There was some task I was supposed to complete, which was making me feel stressed (unrecalled). 

Scene 2: My 'Dream Town' - Day
I was then in a location which I recognised as being a town I have referred to as my 'Dream Town' (see Additional Notes, below). I knew I had been there before and had a sense of familiarity. I saw a number of Tudor-style houses along an urban street. It was daytime, but I knew dusk was approaching. I was waiting for AJR to join me at the location, which was on the street. I was not sure what our plans were, but I got bored waiting and entered one of the houses. I did not need to knock on the front door - it was unlocked. Inside, it was not actually a domestic house, but a secondhand book shop. Everything was a sandy brown colour (the wooden shelves were light brown and all the books were sandy brown and very dusty). I did not browse the shop, I just stood staring at the floor to ceiling shelves which were stacked with thousands of books. I was aware that it was Carnival Day in this town. My Stepdad entered the secondhand bookshop. We started a conversation, but I cannot recall what was discussed. I was aware I had to get to the 'frozen food store' (see Dream 84, discussed below) which in this dream I knew to be named 'Country Freezer Foods' before it closed. I did not want to walk to the store because I had to walk across a number of grassy hills to get there and it would take me a long time.

I cannot recall anything else about this dream.

• The day before this dream, I had a telephone conversation with AJR's mum HT about my love of secondhand bookshops. She mentioned the town of Sudbury, which is relatively close to where AJR's family live. Weirdly, in my dreams of my 'Dream Town', there is often reference to the town being called 'Sudsbury'. A search of this Blog, using the keyword 'Sudsbury' revealed the following results: Dream 84 (20 September 2012) - this dream involved crabs (this is relevant to a phenomenal 'telepathic' experience with AJR, which I will post about shortly, with an accompanying Youtube video); a prosecutor; and working in a pub (which is another topic I was discussing with AJR's mum); Dream 92 (12 November 2012); an article on Dream Deja-Vu & Dream Precognition; and an article on Dreaming & False Memory Syndrome
• Note that in Dream 84 - the first 'Dream Town' dream where 'Sudsbury' is referenced, there is reference to the frozen food warehouse and everything  being 'brown or sepia toned' in part of the dream - remember, I have not re-read or familiarise myself with any of these referenced 'historical dreams' until after I experienced the current one, and began some research during the recording process
• AJR currently works in a library

Dream 983

'Party Favours'

Date: 22 May 2019
Day 18 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Unknown (Domestic?) Interior - Time Unknown

I was in an unknown interior, which I perceived to be a home, although not one I recall from real life. I was walking around the ground floor of the house, which had a number of dark corners and hallways, with blank white walls. One of my family members - it may have been my Mum or my Nan - were present and I had a short (unrecalled) conversation with them. The overwhelming feeling of this dream was having responsibility or a duty which felt stressful and I wanted to avoid. I felt anxious. At some point in the dream I realised that I was supposed to be preparing party gift bags for a party I was planning. I had the job of selecting items for the party gift bags. I suddenly had the 'good' idea of putting a single (faux) diamond stud earring in the bag, and realised this would be very successful. I cannot recall anything else about this dream.

'Job Interview'

Day 16 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Unknown Interior - Time Unknown

I cannot recall this dream particularly well. I was standing up at the start of the dream and I had a piece of paper in my hand. I think there was writing on the paper, but cannot remember anything else. 

I then sat at a long, polished wooden table, in between my Mum and her friend, CC. Another (unknown) dream character entered the room, which appeared to be empty other than the wooden table. The dream character was a young white male - in his 20s - ordinary looking. I cannot recall any other details. I was aware that this was a job interview and I wondered why I was allowed to be present, because I was not part of the interviewing panel. I felt like I was an intruder, but no-one was asking me to leave. I cannot recall what questions my Mum and CC asked the interviewee/candidate.

Dream 981

'Antiques Shopping'

Date: 17 May 2019
Day 13 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Antique Shop/Hotel - Time Unknown

I was in an antique shop - which might have been a bric-a-brac store as it looked quite messy, dusty and dishevelled. I was eating a vanilla ice cream cone, while an older white female dream character with grey hair showed me a large decorative vase, as if she was trying to sell it to me. I cannot recall what was said. An old white male dream character, who also worked in the antique shop, went over to a piano and began to play, but I cannot recall what he performed or whether he was any good at playing the piano. I then realised that the antique shop was also a hotel and the female dream character was CC, a former good friend of my Mums. There was some reference to RR (someone I went to high school with) and her father (who is married to my cousin HM's paternal aunt). I cannot recall the context. 

There was some reference to Pewdiepie (Felix Kjellberg), although I cannot recall if he actually appeared in the dream or was simply referenced. I cannot recall the context of this element of the dream.

Scene 2: My Bathroom, Norwich - Time Unknown
I was then in my bathroom in my flat - staring at the bath, which was filled with dead white flowers. I wondered who would clean these up.

I cannot recall anything else about this dream - I know I have forgotten a lot of detail because I remembered more immediately upon waking, but did not record the dream immediately. More details may resurface, as is often the case when I initially have strong dream recall. If I remember anything else, I will record it below.

• On the day of this dream I had been eating ice cream
• On the day of this dream I had been watching Pewdiepie on Youtube and had recently been discussing him. Appearance-wise, he sometimes reminds me of AJR as they have similar colouring/complexion and to some extent, face shape
• On the day of this dream, a male Instagram follower/friend (due to fact I have had previous conversations with him online) told me he wanted to learn the piano so he could play for me
• On the day of this dream I read an online post (on a Facebook group) about an American woman who called the police because 2 young girls stole 2 tulips she had received on Mother's Day - the post was ridiculing her for her pettiness

Dream 980

'White Bikini Weight Loss'

Date: 15 May 2019
Day 11 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: A Ship - Day

I was on a ship which was all made of wood - like a very traditional old pirate ship. I was on the top deck, but there was still some kind of ceiling. I could see the sea stretching out around the ship, meaning we were sailing. 

I was wearing a white bikini. There were 2 middle-aged white male dream characters - sailors wearing traditional sailor suits (white and navy). They were weighing me. I was aware I had lost a significant amount of weight and was in good shape. 

Scene 2: The Field Outside my Flat at University, Norwich - Day
I was then on the field outside my flat on my university campus, running down the slight slope toward the path. I was chasing a rabbit (the campus is known for having a huge wild rabbit population). I became aware that I have had a previous number of dreams about this location - in the dream, I thought: 'this location often features in my dreams' - although I did not become lucid (consciously aware that I was currently dreaming). 

I cannot recall anything else about this dream.

Dream 979

'Drama!'

Date: 13 May 2019
Day 9 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Unknown Interior - Time Unknown

This was more of a series of dream fragments, rather than a cohesive and well-recalled dream narrative. I have forgotten a lot of the detail, as unfortunately I did not record the dream immediately upon waking. 

All action appeared to take place within an interior, which seemed to be dark blue - or it had a dim blue light. I cannot recall. I cannot remember any other scene. 

My Nan was a dream character and there was some unrecalled dialogue with her. She was wearing a white jumper. My Uncle GC was either referred to or was present temporarily in the dream.

I was then sitting at a long table with my cousin CAJ. I knew I was working in my student welfare job and I had to go and perform a welfare check on a male student. We were both writing something on pieces of paper. I remember seeing that I was using a blue felt tip pen and my writing was much larger than usual. In the dream I was annoyed that I hadn't been writing neatly. I then thought that events (as they were happening in the dream) were strongly connected to the current James Charles drama/scandal, although it is not clear how I knew/why I thought this.

'Stepdad in a Chair'

Day 7 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Unknown Domestic Interior - Day

My former dog Kelli, an Alsation (from when I lived at home with my parents in Pine Grove, Sheringham) was running in front of me down a long, brightly lit corridor. I was in my family home, but it was not one I recognise from real life. I was with a friend - a female dream character, who I cannot recall to describe. The impression was that I was my teenager - or at least, younger - self. My Mum said that my Stepdad was not at home and would be out at work. I am not sure if I actually saw my Mum, I think she was leaving for work herself, and was calling out to me from downstairs. My friend and I then wandered around the house, entering what was a lounge. We were shocked to find my Stepdad slouched in an armchair. My Stepdad did not resemble his real life appearance. He was a bit younger (not much), had the same, dark hair (but much more, as he is balding and has it shaved down to a minimum in real life), had a deep sun tan, was skinny and was wearing a white vest. I am not sure if I registered how different he looked in the dream. My Stepdad started a conversation with my friend and I, but I cannot recall what was said. I remember thinking the room was very dark because the curtains were drawn.

'Plans to See A Band Play Live'

Date: 10 May 2019
Day 5 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: A Seaside Location (A Pier?) - Day

It was a sunny day and I was in some kind of kiosk (or small marquee?) at the seaside (I am not sure whereabouts exactly, as I only saw the interior of the kiosk/marquee and do not recall any specific details about my location) - I think I was on the end of a pier because I did see that the floor was made on wooden boards, which reminded me of this. I was with NN and we were looking at a poster on the wall/side of the marquee which was advertising a live performance by an (unrecalled) band, which had 4 male musicians in it. NN pointed at the poster and said we should go and see the band. I agreed, even though I was not very enthusiastic about the prospect. 

I cannot recall anything else about this dream.

• I am currently planning on making a Youtube video which involves a pier - I may make a Blog post about this too, as it is an interesting, unexplained phenomenon, also involving lucid dreaming and my boyfriend, AJR
• A couple of days ago, while on a bus travelling to see AJR on a prison visit, I was listening to a track on Youtube by a band I have not often listened to - I remember thinking NN had been to see this band live (The Coral)

Dream 976

'Surprising Exam Results'

Date: 8 May 2019
Day 3 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Unknown Interior - Day

I was in a room, which I believe might have been an educational institution - present were a number of dream characters, some of which I think were fellow pupils from my high school. I recall RR and JF being present. There was also a teacher - an older white female dream character, with grey hair which was tied back from her face. She was handing out exam result transcripts. When I received mine, I realised I had passed the majority of my exams, but my results were lower than expected. In fact, my exam results were lower than my peers' (which surprised me as these dream characters were not academically successful, whereas I have always been). I wondered if I would be able to go on and study for another course with my low exam results. I was somewhat worried. I cannot recall what else happened in this scene, but I feel like I have forgotten some of the details.

Scene 2: My Nan's Back Garden, Sheringham - Day
I was then standing behind the shed in my Nan's back garden - alone. I realised I was able to apply for a PhD in English Literature - I even had the idea for my thesis (I cannot recall what it was, but I remember feeling excited about it). I then realised the course was an undergraduate degree, not a PhD. I knew I already have an undergraduate English (and History of Art) degree, but knew I was able to do another degree in this area, as long as it was only focused on English Literature. I felt relieved to know what I was going to do next with my life.

Dream 975

'Adopted Twins'

Date: 7 May 2019
Day 2 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Partially Successful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: My University (Undergraduate Law Seminar) - Day
I was coming to work in my job as an Associate Tutor, teaching Law at my university. It was a revision seminar (these being the work I am currently doing in real life). My academic supervisor, who is also head of Criminal Law (the class I am teaching in the dream and real life) had provided the class with a large amount of cannabis, which we were permitted to smoke in class, in order to 'open our minds'. This was very exciting to me. I entered the classroom and saw the cannabis on the table which my students were sitting around. One male student (not a particular student I recognise from real life, but I do recall in the dream he had mid-brown hair and was white, approximately 18 years old) was handing out the huge buds of cannabis and I hoped there would be some left for me. 

Scene 2: My Nan's Living Room, Sheringham - Day
There was some kind of scene in my Nan's living room, where I was laying on the sofa with a boy I know, who 'dated' my friend AK - his name is EW. EW was wearing neon green tracksuit bottoms and a white vest. Suddenly I became aware that there was a white blanket over top of us. EW adopted a position where he was above me, but not touching, still in a horizontal position. I became aware he was holding a large green dildo, which he was putting down the waistband of his tracksuit bottoms. This confused me. 

Scene 3: My Bedroom, Norwich - Time Unknown
I was then sitting in my bedroom with NM, my manager in the legal firm where I am working as a prison lawyer. There was something I thought I had done wrong, but I wasn't quite sure what. NM then told me that I would be responsible for a new case, which was in the field of Family Law. It was my duty to go and get newborn twins - a brother and sister, and remove them from their home and take them to a place of safety. In the dream, I was aware that this was very similar to the plotline involving Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa in Star Wars, although I did not consciously link this to my current Dream Incubation Experiment - it was more like my dream self accepted events as reality, but noticed the similarity to the fictional Star Wars story. I agreed with NM that I would do this task, but wondered why I was being asked to do it. I looked to the space under my desk and saw a pile of legal files/documents, which were coloured in a light buff brown. I was aware these were the case papers relating to the twins. 

I was then introduced to a woman, 'Donna' who was standing in my room with us, but at the same time as it looking like my bedroom, it also appeared to be outside, with Donna standing behind a concessions stand. I can only recall that Donna was in her 30s, white, brown hair and average build. She was wearing a red and white striped apron over a business suit. NM said: 'Donna will teach you how to do the Magistrates Court'. Donna handed me a small white piece of paper and I was aware that she had 'learned a trick' which helped her win every case in the Magistrates Court. I knew NM preferred Donna to me and felt jealous. 

Scene 4: A Family Home - Time Unknown
I was then in a family home, which I believed to be the house where the twins were. Someone - an unrecalled dream character who I am not sure if I actually saw, or just heard from behind me - was telling me I had to take action. Inside the house were some children - I recall there were at least 3 - and recall seeing there was a son and daughter in the family. I am not sure of the gender of the other child. I was sanding in the living room of the house, which was very ornately decorated, with expensive, artistic objects and antiques/heirlooms. I cannot describe it better than that, although at one point, the room reminded me of my Nan's second downstairs reception room. I was talking to the little girl, who was about 4 years old. She was black and dressed in a fancy party dress. She demonstrated playing the violin and I thought she was very talented for her young age. I then realised that I was not in the house where the twins lived. The children's parents entered the room - at first they were middle aged white lesbians - then they became a black heterosexual couple, who were dressed as barristers, which made me aware they worked in the legal profession. I spoke to the parents, but cannot recall what was said. I also spoke to the family - now with grandparents or elder relatives - out on the street - this being a suburban residential street, later after I left the house. It was dusk and we were standing under a streetlight.

Dream 974

'Broken Mobile Phone'

Date: 6 May 2019
Day 1 of Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure 
Status: Unsuccessful Dream Incubation Dream

Scene 1: An Unknown Domestic Interior - Day

I was in an unknown domestic interior - which in the dream, was my home. It was not a house I recognise from real life, but it was a very normal, ordinary house. There were 2 dream characters present - my Mum and her (formerly) very good friend, AB. In the dream, my mobile phone was broken beyond repair - in particular the phone screen was badly cracked so that the glass was falling out. I was sitting on the floor of the lounge, holding my phone. I crawled on my hands and knees over to where AB was sitting on a red sofa. I showed her my broken phone, but I cannot recall what was said. I was the standing in a hallway - in the doorway, looking into a hall, which made me aware that this was a one-storey house, as the bedrooms led off from this hall. My Mum was standing there. I cannot recall what was said here either, but I remember thinking it was very dark in the hallway considering it was daytime.

Dream Incubation Experiment - A Star Wars Adventure

To celebrate the relaunch of my Youtube channel (and this Blog), I am conducting a new Dream Incubation Experiment which I will document on both platforms for my viewers/readers. I hope you will follow along with me and try it for yourselves!

Quite simply, dream incubation is the concept of prospectively choosing what you want to dream about and then training your mind to make your chosen dream happen. It is often referred to as 'planting the seed' of a dream in your mind.

In the spirit of updating and streamlining my content, and to make my tutorials/experiments easier to follow, I am simplifying my Dream Incubation Technique. I have been practicing dream incubation since my early childhood, when I first became interested in dreamwork. I was always fascinated and excited by the idea of choosing the theme or subject matter of my dreams. 

In previous Dream Incubation Experiments, I attempted to combine dream incubation and lucid dreaming. I think this unnecessarily complicated what should be a relatively easy aspect of dreamwork. For this reason, my new Dream Incubation Experiment will focus solely on the objective of incubating a chosen dream theme successfully. If lucidity occurs during my Dream Incubation Experiment, this is an added bonus! 

My chosen Dream Incubation Theme is - A Star Wars Adventure.

I will purely concentrate on incubating a Star Wars dream - I am not going to be prescriptive or specific here. The first day of this Dream Incubation Experiment is today - Monday 6 May 2019.

Methodology:

• Every night, before sleep, I will use a mantra - 'I will have a Star Wars dream and remember it when I wake up'. I will recite this repeatedly in my mind as I am laying in bed, falling asleep. This will focus my intention on dreaming about Star Wars.
• I will periodically and regularly think about Star Wars throughout the waking day and try and expose myself to as much Star Wars-related content as possible - this is relatively easy for me as I follow a lot of Star Wars-related media online.
• I will use two cues/prompts - a written reminder (which will be read each night before sleep and will be kept under my pillow) and a small, metal replica of the Death Star (which will be kept in  visible spot beside my bed) - see below for an image of my Dream Incubation Experiment cues/prompts.
• Every day upon waking I will reflect on my dream memories and then record/interpret and analyse each dream, both on this Blog and in regular Youtube video uploads.

Dream 973

'Working for Two Law Firms'

Date: 5 May 2019

Scene 1: A Law Firm - Day

I was working in the criminal defence/prison law firm I am working with in real life (I work from home on a consultancy basis rather than being based in an office). I think I was in the law firm offices in the dream, although I am sure that the other workers (dream characters) were people I worked with when I last worked in a criminal defence law firm (around 2008ish maybe). I do not recall much other than walking around the office, which I think had a royal blue carpet. I remember seeing a number of filing cabinets and piles of paperwork and that the office seemed very untidy and dimly lit with a number of corners and separating walls sectioning off the one big room. It did not resemble any office I recall from real life.

I had been offered another job in a second criminal defence law firm, which meant I would be working in two law firms at once. I decided to take on the second job as well. I knew I had a lot of work commitments and was not sure how I would balance them, but I felt positive that I would be earning a decent income doing something I really love. I cannot recall anything else about this dream, as it was more of a dream fragment than a full dream.

* When I first met AJR I was working in criminal defence and prison law, and I always mourned the loss of that particular job as I loved it so much. I always wanted to return to criminal and prison law, and I know that when AJR and I started dating, this was something he wanted me to do too, as we discussed my future career at length. I then miraculously got offered a job working for a firm (with a name which matches AJR's real last name!) working in this area. This means AJR is able to help me grow my client base from within prison and I know he loves telling people that he is dating a prison lawyer. AJR is himself a qualified prison lawyer and we plan to open up our own legal aid practice in the future. I feel like my life has come full circle, but in a very positive way! This dream may be an indication that I am currently feeling overworked generally.
